Book for Millwall at Travel Ken’s all new Travel Emporium- and news on membership and a fans forum!

Max Wall. The Berlin Wall. Millwall. Three different types of famous wall, but only one that will be hosting our mighty CTFC in the League Cup (or whatever it’s called this year) next Tuesday night, and only one that our very own World Famous (in Crawley) Travel Ken will be taking coach bookings for tonight!

Coach tickets cost a measly ten pounds and the coach leaves the Broadfield Stadium at 4:45pm, to allow us enough time to get through the traffic in London for a 7:45 kick-off.

As always, there are a number of ways to book Alliance Travel. You can, of course, book directly at the football club during office hours. You can visit Travel Ken in the Alliance Cabin before and after our home games. You can also call or text  Travel Ken on 07843124845, or e-mail via travel@ctfcsa.co.uk.

And now, a message from our Barb and Chris, our membership team!

Hi All

If you’ve already joined or renewed your membership for this season, we’d like to say a big ‘Thank You’  – so far there are over 150 of you, of whom 30 have joined for the first time. If you haven’t yet collected your membership card, please come and find us in our new CTSA cabin which is situated near to Redz. We’re there at every home game, and also travel on the coaches to most of the away games – just ask your steward if you’re not sure who we are!

If you haven’t joined or renewed yet then now’s the time to do it and start getting all the benefits that membership has to offer.

Not seen our new cabin yet? Well here it is!

Gently….gently…don’t drop it!

It was delivered on Tuesday 7th August following work done initially by a task force made up of the CTSA board and some very welcome volunteers from among our members – see earlier blog by Ian; then, one of our new members offered his services for free to complete the final preparations of the site.

We’re very grateful to Sean Sharkey of Keybuild, who has not only donated his time but also materials, to landscape around the cabin and make it fully accessible. ‘Sharkey’ as he’s fondly called, is a true friend of CTSA and is shortly to become an official ‘Friend’, joining those others whose details are already on the website – once he gets his own website sorted that is!

In the meantime, you can see for yourself the quality of his work when you next visit the cabin to book an away trip , collect your card or simply come along for a friendly chat.

We hope you’ll visit us soon at the next home game you attend.

Finally, patient friends, a small reminder. On Thursday August 16th new CTFC Manager Richie Barker will be answering your questions in the Stadium Suite. A pre-season fans forum, which will be broadcast live on BBC Sussex, takes place from 7.05-8.00pm .

This is your chance to question Richie about the new season and get in the mood for the next great chapter in the club’s history. Doors open at 6pm and supporters are asked to be in the Stadium Suite by 6.50pm ahead of the live broadcast. A cash bar will be open.
