Have a CTFC Christmas- with travel, gifts and priority ticketing on the cheap!

Home | News
5th December 2012

So, what does December hold for CTFC? Shrewsbury, Stevenage, Sheffield United- and then two trips to the seaside with Portsmouth and Bournemouth on the horizon. And following that, another Premier League team arrive, with the visit of Reading in the FA Cup 3rd Round on Saturday 5th January. Costly, eh? Well we at the CTSA would like to help! A CTSA membership gets you cheap yet top class coach travel from the UK’s Premier Coach Operator, 10% off all of your CTFC Christmas presents in the club shop, and priority ticketing- so you get all the CTFC action but with less splashing of cash! Oh, and a collection of discounts from our local business partners too. And we must mention that your membership is valid all season- you’ll certainly need it when we go back to Old Trafford in the fourth round!

Membership details here: https://www.ctfcsa.co.uk/membership/ along with the necessary forms- bring them to the cabin and we’ll sort you out quicker than you can say “If Travel Ken picked a pint of pickled port, how pickled on pickled port would Travel Ken get”? Or our younger supporters can take out a Junior Reds membership- details here- http://www.crawleytownfc.com/fans/junior-fans/ – via the club and get similar discounts. Either would do!

So, on Saturday, whilst we host Shrewsbury, we’d urge you to book for Stevenage (15th), Bournemouth (Boxing Day) and Portsmouth (Saturday 29th). MEMBERS CAN TRAVEL TO ALL THREE FOR A GRAND TOTAL OF £37.50 so long as they book in advance- or £40 booked individually. That is, undoubtedly, the cheapest way of following the Reds in December.  WE WOULD ALSO LIKE TO TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO POINT OUT THAT WE’RE THE CHEAPEST OFFICIAL TRAVEL PROVIDER IN THE LEAGUE! To get the cheap deal for Portsmouth and Bournemouth we’d like to confirm by the 15th, so we can get some idea of how many coaches we’ll need, so go and pester Travel Ken in the cabin opposite Redz on Saturday, or by email, or phone. Become his pre Christmas stalker!

Here are the details:

On Saturday 15th December we head off to Broadhall Way to face our former Conference rivals Stevenage (they’re no longer a “Borough”). And you can travel there in comfort for almost no money at all! The cost is £12.50 per person. The coach leaves the Broadfield Stadium at 11 AM.

On Boxing Day we head down to the South coast to play Portsmouth– in the hope that we manage to play the entire game with eleven men and that they, on this occasion, don’t have 12! The cost of travel will be £12.50 for members or £15 for non members, and the coaches will leave the Broadfield Stadium at 1130 AM. And as a special seasonal offer to our members you can book this and the Bournemouth game the following Saturday for a total of £25, so long as you’ve booked and paid by 15th December.

On Saturday 29th December we head down to pensioners paradise to play AFC Bournemouth– Tubbsy and all! The cost of travel will be £15 for members or £17.50 for non members, and the coaches will leave the Broadfield Stadium at 1030 AM. And as mentioned above, as a special seasonal offer to our members you can book for this and the Portsmouth game on Boxing Day for a total of £25, so long as you’ve booked and paid by 15th December.

As always, there are a number of ways to book Alliance Travel. You can, of course, book directly at the football club during office hours. You can visit Travel Ken in the Alliance Cabin before and after our home games. You can also call or text Travel Ken on 07843124845, or e-mail via travel@ctfcsa.co.uk.

So we look forward to seeing you all regularly during the festive season and beyond. Have a wonderful Christmas, and thanks for your support.

If you’ve already filled out a membership form but not yet collected your card, please do so asap. The club will want to see your card on Tues 11th for the priority booking of Reading tickets by CTSA & Junior Reds members.
Cards and application forms are available from the CTSA cabin before and after any home game and on the away coaches – just ask for me or Chris.
You can also pick up a form from the club reception in office hours.
Look forward to seeing you soon
