CRAWLEY TOWN SUPPORTERS’ ALLIANCE TRAVEL – SEASON 2014/2015.
CTSA are pleased to announce that after reviewing & tendering the coach contract for the coming season, we will continue to use Clarkes of London.
CTSA will continue to offer you the best prices and value for money on our away trips, starting with a visit to newly relegated Barnsley on 9th August.
The CTSA Board have made some slight changes in the way coaches are going to run this season due to:
a) making some heavy losses on second coaches
b) ensuring that supporters who book seats, have paid and therefore, confirmed their seat in advance.
CTSA will endeavour to take a minimum of one coach to a Saturday match.
Due to the lack of people wanting to travel to Tuesday night games in the North of England last season, CTSA will assess the numbers wanting to travel by the weekend before and make a decision regarding taking a mini bus. The cost per person will be a slight increase on the normal coach and will ensure we don’t make a heavy loss. We have budgeted the costs and departure times as follows, which we hope will help in planning your away travel for the season. These are, of course, subject to change.

The only way to guarantee your seat on the coach this season is to pay in advance using the options detailed below:
1. Visit the CTSA Cabin on a home match day.
2. Book online at http://www.ctsa.ticketsource.co.uk.
3. Visit or phone the club during office hours and book/pay there.
If you make a last minute decision that you wish to travel and you are unable to purchase your coach ticket from the Club, 24 hours before the coach departs, email travel@ctfcsa.co.uk or text 07843124845 and our travel team will, of course, do their best to help. Please be aware that the coach/es may be full by that time. If you book and then do not turn up you will be expected to pay for the seat you should have occupied.
Rules for the coming season.
Last season we had to regularly run a standby list, and the last thing we want to do is disappoint those who want to travel when there could have been seats available for them. If you are unable to travel at the last minute, please let us know as soon as possible so we can try and sell your seat to someone else. Please note if we are unable to sell on your ticket, we will not be able to refund your money.
Early booking will also enable us to arrange extra coaches if necessary.
Tickets will be on a first come, first served basis and must be paid for by 4pm on the Thursday before travel, to be guaranteed a place on the coach. Your booking will be confirmed to you, either by text or email.
If you have any problems purchasing a ticket in advance, please contact the travel team.
One-way trips will only be available after Friday pm, if there are spare seats. We will then text/email you to confirm.
CTSA will keep a reserve list and if we have the minimum number needed to book a second coach by the Wednesday before Saturday’s game. we will add another coach. We will then text/email you to confirm your booking.
CTSA will keep you updated via the website, Twitter and Facebook. If the coach/es are full, this will be communicated, again, via the website, Twitter and Facebook.
CTSA will continue to offer free tea/coffee/hot chocolate on each journey and there will also be a free raffle! Other snacks will be available to purchase.
Hopefully, the new procedures will tighten up our booking process and your ticket confirmation will ensure your seat on the coach.
If you have any queries, you can contact Travel Tracey or James Palmer at travel@ctfcsa.co.uk or text/phone 07843124845.
Please only call between 9am – 7pm. James Palmer and Sarah Moylan will also be involved with the travel this season too.
We look forward to you travelling with the CTSA this season. See you on the 9th August, if not before!
