“FESTIVAL OF FOOTBALL”

6-A-SIDE CHARITY EVENT FOR REDS’ FANS

 6.30PM  –  FRIDAY 13TH MAY 2016 – CHECKATRADE.COM STADIUM.

We are pleased to announce that we will be holding a Festival of Football for all Crawley Town fans (adults) to come and play on the Stadium pitch.  Ladies included!

Teams:  6-8 players and must include at least 2 men and 2 women.  At any one time, whilst playing, there should be a minimum of 2 men and 2 women on the pitch.  The rest of the team is up to you.  If you need to find some ladies, we’re sure the Crawley Old Girls (COGs) will be able to help!

League format:  FA 6 a side rules apply.   League matches, semi-final and final. The winners of the Final will receive the inaugural “Les Turnbull Memorial Cup”.

Player Eligibility: Each player should raise a minimum sponsorship of £20 each to play, which will go to charity.  This event is open to supporters aged 18 or over.

How to enter:  To reserve your team’s place, Team Sheets must be completed with the initial 6 players’ names and a minimum deposit of £10/player to be paid.  Please bring a copy of the form and your deposit to the Cabin, give to Sophie in Reception or give to a CTSA Board member on the away coach to Dagenham.  The rest of the money you raise will be collected on the night.   Entries will be on a first come, first served basis.

Team entry forms can be downloaded here:  Festival of Football Team Entry Form 2015.2016

Player Sponsorship Forms, if needed, can be downloaded here: Festival of Football Player Sponsorship Form 2015.2016

Registration:  Registration will open at 6.15pm and close at 6.45pm. Games will kick off at 7pm.  Please make sure shin pads are worn!

Refreshments:  Refreshments will be available and the Mayo Wynne Baxter Suite Bar will be open.

Changing Facilities:  Separate changing facilities will be available if you need to use them.

Individuals:  If you don’t have a team and would still like to play, we will make a list of any individuals who want to join in and, if we have enough, we will look at making a separate team up.

Please remember that this is a fun event, for charity, (fancy dress optional!) and we want everyone to enjoy themselves.  All officials/helpers are volunteers.

So dust off your boots Ladies & Gentlemen, for a fun evening of football!
