Please see details below from Fan Representative Steve Leake’s latest meeting with Kelly Derham, held on December 18, 2018.

Question 1: The CEO of People’s Pension stated that they and the club have shared values, which prompted the question – “What are the club’s values?”

Answer: The club’s core values centre on community involvement and engagement, which is epitomized by the club slogan ‘Town Team Together’. These values are shared with the People’s Pension.

Q2: Why was no one from the board/owners present at the stadium renaming?

A: Kelly was absent because of a pre-arranged weekend away, and as Joe Comper (Commercial & Communities Manager) had done the majority of the work setting up the deal, it was thought his presence was the most appropriate.

Q3: Have the club submitted the fit and proper persons test for Erdem Konyar?

A: Form has been submitted by the club to the FA/EFL and a response is expected in the new year.

Q4: What is the position with the scoreboard?

A: The scoreboard is currently working but the club are investigating replacing it with a bigger and better version for next season.

Q5: What is the status of the PA system?

A: As far as the club are aware, the PA is working throughout the stadium. Please can fans advise the club directly if this is not the case.

Q: Are there plans to have card facilities inside the stadium?

A: The club will look into this but the feeling is that this would lengthen queues at the catering outlets, especially at half time.

Q: What is the latest news on printing tickets at home?

A: There is a system problem at the moment which is stopping the purchasing of tickets online. When this has been rectified by an outside agency in the new year, tickets should then be possible to print at home.

Q: When will there be more kids’ kits in the club shop?

A: There should be some in this week for up to five-year-olds.

Q: Would it be possible to sell scarves and hats in Redz Bar before games?

A: This has been tried with little success, but the club are looking to open up an outlet inside the ground in the new year, next to the Devils’ Den.

Q: What would be the club’s attitude to the proposal from the Peterborough owner that there should be a draft system which would enable League 1 and League 2 clubs to take two Premier/Championship academy players on loan for the entire season?

A: The club would support this proposal if put forward at the appropriate AGMs.

Q: Will the club be holding a PWYC (Pay What You Can) game this season?

A: The club will not rule it out, but see the two-match offer associated with the People’s Pension as being a good opportunity for fans and the club.

The next club board meeting was then agreed for January 29 2019, at 3pm. CTFC also added that they are aiming to hold a forum in January.
