Travel Ken's new baby!

Planning for our trip to Hull City on Saturday is almost complete, and we expect to be taking twelve coaches. We are scheduled to leave the Broadfield Stadium at 8AM, and would ask that you arrive in good time for departure as we don’t want to leave too late! And if you haven’t yet booked, please don’t leave it much longer! Bookings can be made through the football club during office hours and they will be selling match tickets up until Friday afternoon, but we can’t guarantee that we’ll have any coach seats left if you leave it that late. Remember, coach travel is £12.50 for CTSA members and £15 for non members, so incredible value for money.

A tea bar- serving hot drinks and bacon rolls- will be open at the club from 6.30 AM. Toilet facilities will also be available. We expect to take up a fairly large section of the car park -that to the left of the gates as you enter- with coach parking. The rest of the stadium car park will be available, but we have also arranged car parking at William Reed from 0630- follow the link for details. http://www.crawleytownfc.com/page/CarParking

An enormous amount of planning has gone into this trip. Travel Ken called a short meeting yesterday evening to discuss the latest details and give the designated stewards their duties for the day. We have arranged to stop at Leicester Forest Services for a short break on the way there and back, and will be showing dvd’s of the Manchester United match from last season on the way up, as well as holding a raffle for a signed ball on each coach. Additionally all travellers will be given the chance to enter a free prize draw to win a £50 CTFC gift voucher exchangeable for all club products including match tickets. We’d like to thank all those who have offered to steward a coach for their help- the rogues gallery is below!

We are confident that first time travellers will be very impressed with the quality of the vehicles being provided by Clarkes of London. Managing Director  Debbie Newman explained, “We pride ourselves on our experience and solid reputation and this is the reason why we have held the Large Coach Operator of the Year Award for the past two years.” She added, “We believe that we offer the best vehicles, the best driving force and ultimately the best logistical back up service in the UK today”.  http://www.clarkescoaches.co.uk/ provides more details of their services.

We’d also like to thank our commercial partners; http://vansignwriting.co.uk/ and http://www.creativepod.net/ and http://www.wealdenworkwear.co.uk/ for the invaluable help and support they’ve given us in planning for this game and in providing exceptional sign writing, printing and clothing services. We’re also immensely grateful to all at CTFC for their ongoing support, with particular mentions going to Susan, Alan, Kim, Emma, Ewan and Bruce!

The CTSA look forward to welcoming everyone travelling with us to Hull- and just like you we are all praying for victory! And as a special bonus, if you travel with us to Hull, you can make another trip with us to Bradford City the following Saturday for just £15. That trip needs to be booked directly with Travel Ken- either on Saturday, via travel@ctfcsa.co.uk, or via 07843124845.

See you all on Saturday morning !
