I currently accommodate a grumpy teenager. I do it voluntarily and it must cost me at least £300 a month! But if you can accommodate a far less grumpy teenager from the CTFC Youth Academy, then the club will actually give you £300 a month for your help. I’ve asked Simon Rusk, and he refuses to swap one of mine for one of his!

In all seriousness, CTFC have asked the Crawley Town Supporters Alliance for help in securing accommodation for their Youth Team scholars. These fine, upstanding young men aged 16-18 will hopefully be the future of our football club, but many of them will be away from home for the first time and require lodgings (and feeding) in a comfortable, warm, secure and welcoming environment. Each Landlord will receive rent of £300 per month per person accommodated.

This is not just an opportunity to make some rent, as I’m sure you can imagine. It is imperative that the club lodge their players in an environment which is suitable for them, so there are stringent procedures in place.
