December Chair Update

Home | News
20th December 2022

Hello everyone

For those who don’t know me, my name is Reuben Watt and I am the current interim chair of the Crawley Town Supporters Alliance or the CTSA for short. I thought that I should do a video to introduce myself, give you one or two updates as well as a couple of other things

So who am I? I have been a Crawley fan since 2010 and I live and breathe the club. You will mainly see me at away games but go to home games when I can. Away from Crawley, I am a third-year Ethical Hacking & Cyber Security student at Coventry University.

I want to thank many of you for your kind words since I began as the interim chair, particularly off the back of the open letter that was released last week. As an update, I am meeting Chris Galley, acting CEO and Director of Football on the 22nd of December. Following this meeting, I want to be as open and transparent as I possibly can with you all. It is going to be a fine line between transparency from our side to keep you all updated and ensuring that the CTSA can form a good relationship with the club where they can trust us with information that we won’t then make public.

Having spoken to many fans about the CTSA, I know we aren’t seen in a positive light by many and it is important that this is changed. There is so much potential within the CTSA but what it takes is positive conversations with Crawley fans from all walks of life, an increase in membership numbers and the realisation that at the end of the day we all want what is best for our football club, Crawley Town. If you do want to join the CTSA as a member, hop onto our website and you can join in there.

The CTSA had their first board meeting with me in the chair where we discussed WAGMI United, the Owners’ and Directors’ fit and proper test, the purpose of the CTSA and membership/Reds Rollover. If you want to read the minutes, you can do so by visiting our website under the news section.

Finally, a request from me. Chat to meet and engage. I have published a link to book a zoom call with me, my social media DM’s are always open and there is a contact form on the website.

Let’s support the players on the pitch on Saturday as we face Tranmere. Come on, you reds.
