Grimsby Away Travel Advice

2nd October 2022

Throughout the 2022/23 season, as the Crawley Town Supporters Alliance, we will be providing you, the fans, with a number of ways that you can get to the away games.

For our 7th away match of the season, Crawley will be heading to Grimsby. Blundell Park, the home from Grimbsy was last visited by Crawley fans back in December 2019. However, we did play there in February 2021 but that was behind closed doors due to Covid.

Coach

GH Coches, the official CTFC travel provider, will be running a day minibus to the match for only £30. For this match, they will be leaving the Broadfield Stadium at 7:00 am to get to the ground. On route, they will be stopping for breaks although there will not be a buffet lunch organised. Without a doubt the cheapest way to get to the match. Train

Unfortunately, due to train strikes, it would not be possible to make the trip to Grimsby via train. However, if you wanted to make a weekend of the football, you would be able to take a train on the Friday and back on the Sunday.

Car

The 240-mile journey will take you around 4 and a half hours if you were to leave from the Football Stadium. This journey will take you round the M25 (again!), followed by a journey up the M11 towards Cambridge and then onto the A1(M). From here you can either go up the A1, past Lincoln up to Cleethorpes or go on the A17 past Peterborough.  You can look at this journey here.

COME ON YOU REDDSSSSSSSS!!
