25th July 2023

Reuben Watt, Chair of the Crawley Town Supporters Alliance, has written a letter to members of the CTSA as he looks ahead to the start of a new season. The letter can be read here:

Dear CTSA Members,

In just under two weeks, we’ll be kicking off our season with an exciting match against Bradford City. As we look ahead to the upcoming season, we know that there may be many things happening off the field. But one thing remains constant – our full support for Scott Lindsey and the team. Scott has been doing a fantastic job for the club since he joined us last January, and we’re hopeful that he’ll continue to lead us to success in our 13th season as a Football League club.

Recently, Sam Jordan, Nick Claridge, and I virtually met up with Preston Johnson & Eben Smith. We understand that there have been concerns about the lack of information in our statements. We hear you, and we share your frustration. However, as representatives of the Crawley Town Supporters Alliance, we must walk a fine line in our communication. The statements released by us following our meetings with the co-chairmen of Crawley Town are currently the only means of communication between the owners and the fans. If we were to share more information, it could jeopardize this line of communication.

Nevertheless, we believe that we can bring about positive change to our football club. Rest assured that we are working diligently behind the scenes and engaging with various stakeholders. While we may not be able to share everything, we want you, our valued members, to trust that we are holding the club accountable and safeguarding its future. Your support means everything to us, and we will do our best to keep you updated whenever possible.

I’d like to extend an invitation to join us. We are always on the lookout for new members to join our board, and we’re particularly interested in hearing from anyone who might be interested in the role of secretary or treasurer as we plan for the future. If you’re interested or have any questions, please email me at chair@ctfcsa.co.uk in case of interest.

In closing, we would like to encourage non-members to join us free of charge on our website: www.ctfcsa.co.uk/shop/ctsa-membership-one-off/  A strong membership means a strong mandate.

Thank you for your continued support and hopefully see you at a game soon!
