The Crawley Town Supporters Alliance (CTSA) is delighted to announce that Hugh McKinney has been appointed as its representative on the club’s newly established Fan Advisory Board (FAB).

The creation of the Fan Advisory Board, developed in collaboration with the Football Supporters’ Association, marks an important step forward in strengthening supporter engagement at the club.

Hugh will serve as the CTSA’s representative for an initial one-year term (until Summer 27), acting as a vital link between the Alliance and the Board. In this role, he will ensure that the views of CTSA members are clearly represented, while contributing constructively to discussions with the club.

Speaking following his appointment, Hugh McKinney said:

“The Fans’ Advisory Board is a crucial initiative for the club – it brings a wealth of experience and expertise direct from the fan base to help advise the club and determine how best to tackle important issues that affect us all.

There are a number of issues and challenges facing the club and its supporters in the coming months, ranging from the division we will play in next season to the improvements the owners wish to implement off the pitch. The Fans’ Advisory Board can play an important role in supporting these decisions.

It is a huge honour and a privilege to represent the CTSA on the Board, and I will contribute all I can in a positive way for the good of the club we all care deeply about.”

The CTSA strongly welcomes the introduction of the Fan Advisory Board and believes it has the potential to play a meaningful role in ensuring supporter voices are properly heard and reflected in the club’s decision-making.

Members will be kept regularly updated on the work of the FAB and its impact on supporters in the months ahead.
