Squads can be from 6-8 players and must include at least 2 men and 2 women.

At any one time whilst playing, there should be a minimum of 2 men and 2 women playing. The rest of the team is up to you but there can only be a maximum of 2 16–18-year-old players in your squad. If you need to find some ladies, we’re sure the Crawley Old Girls (COGs) will be able to help!

Have you got what it takes to win the Les Turnbull Memorial Cup, which was last won in 2019 by Athletico Bilbrow.

Take your chance to play on the hallowed turf at the People’s Pension Stadium.

Each player will need to raise a minimum sponsorship of £20 each to play, which will be shared between the CTSA, The Stroke Association and the Dannie Bulman benefit fund.

If you need a form to collect sponsorship money, there is one available to download here – Festival of Football Player Sponsorship Form 2022

To reserve your team’s place, team sheets must be completed with the initial 6 players’ names and emailed to membership@ctfcsa.co.uk

Entries will be on a first come, first served basis.

Closing date for entries is Sunday 1st May 2022 so that the fixtures can be produced.

Teams will need to be registered by 5.15pm, A managers’ briefing will then be at 5.30pm and the games will begin at 5.45pm. Please make sure shin pads are worn!

Teams won’t be allowed to take part if the minimum sponsorship money isn’t received by the time of registration.

We are also keen to speak to referees who can take charge of some matches. Interested parties should email membership@ctfcsa.co.uk.

Please remember that this is a fun event, for charity, (fancy dress optional!) and we want everyone to enjoy themselves. All officials/helpers will be volunteers.

Refreshments will be available with the Mayo Wynne Baxter Suite Bar open. There will also be a ‘tea bar’ open to purchase food.

League registered teams will not be eligible to play in the Festival.

So, dust off your boots Ladies & Gentlemen, for a fun evening of football!

NB: All players play at their own risk and must be aged 18 or over, or if 16 to 18 must have a named guardian in their squad.
