At least the fish and chips were good…….

First and foremost, credit must be given to the standout performance of the day. A round of applause to the staff at Simpsons award winning fish and chip restaurant in Cheltenham, who served 48 portions of wonderful fish and chips (and one mackerel bap, but there’s no accounting for taste!), in about 15 minutes. Remembering what it feels like to lose…….

I suppose it had to happen at some point. But are we downhearted? Well, yes, a little bit. There were a number of shock results in the Carling Cup tonight and we were good enough to have added to them. But here we are, regretting what might have been. The best team lost.
